Through our continued dedication to research and development, CUT and Thetis are proud to announce a breakthrough in polymeric membrane operating parameters. After extensive developmental work, our customers will now be able to operate our membranes at much higher temperatures than previously possible. The new PermaFlux™ HT membrane technology can operate at temperatures of up to 80˚C (176˚F). Additionally, it can operate at this elevated temperature at a pH range of 5 to 12.
The ability to operate at such high temperatures means that the need for cooling the feed water in large tanks is eliminated in most applications, improving process time and reducing costs. Furthermore, membrane efficiency is increased due to the decrease in viscosity and further contributes to the increased system efficiency.
